Hey guys! Your HussTin Hunters or ParaHuTing or Rocky Bikers ... whatever you might call us
are finally getting into their next adventure - Snowtubing! Yes guys, we finally welcome you all to our unknown world of secrets. So here is some fun stuff that you probably won't get to know anywhere about Hussain & myself, but mostly him. This has all been kept hush-hush until...now! So read on & I'm sure you will laugh over some of these:
- I hate Hussain's eating habits-he makes too much noise while eating, especially when guests come. He starts eating before even asking the guests to start first!
Now finally after me nagging him he's realized and puts in the effort to fill others' tummies before his own. He thinks everyone is like him because he'll saamne se ask for food if he's hungry. But now his table manners have improved.
- Hussain leaves me small notes every morning because he doesn't want to disturb me if im asleep. Maybe he'll put hem up in the bathroom or my cupboard. Its very cute and adorable.
The message could be even a simple "I love You".
- He may say he's not romantic but he is a complete one at heart. Once in a while he'll take me for a drive where he'll be behind the steering wheel. No driver, just the two of us
. We sometimes go to Lonavla/Poona-spend a night there and get back. Our newest destination is Goa. We don't drive there like many of our friends do, but he surprises me with booked tickets when he has an off from work for 3-4 days!
- Even though he tries to plan surprises I don't let him succeed because I ask him way to many questions and turn curious, since he blabs out accidentally in front of me!
Although I'm smarter at it and more cautious and do better planning for surprises. He calls me CBI!
- I planned him his birthday and bought him 30 gifts
with "friends" being the theme. We played this game where he had to answer correctly to the questions asked by each of his friends, to win the gifts. Else the friend asking the question gets them!
We had film posters put up with our friends' faces on the celebrities' faces! A special one was with Hussain and my face on the "Kismat Konnection" poster.
- A very memorable incident was when he planned a 12days trip to South Africa-it was like a 2nd honeymoon!
I decided to buy him presents beforehand to gift him something there, for every morning!
He yelled at me before leaving because I had a lot of luggage. Little did he know he was in for a whole bunch of goodies!
- Hussain doesn't remember this but in college, his class used to come to mine for a combined math lecture and we'd sit together and make fun of this south Indian teacher. And even though he used to sit next to me he doesn't remember me!
I got along with him but at that time he wasn't a good looker! He wore dorky big specs and had an awful dressing sense!
- What pulled me towards him was his down to earth and grounded nature.
Girls were crazy about him but he was never bothered and was family oriented. Hussain was and is very patient and understanding.
- We both liked each other in a very obvious manner but never confessed our feeling to each other.
Our common friend knew everything and we had confided in him for 2 yrs but somehow couldn't muster up the courage to tell each other! So our friend gave up on us telling each other
and he decided to break the ice and he called both of us to this ice cream parlor called "Yankees" behind Jai Hind and said 'Tina, Hussain loves you. Hussain, Tina loves you' and just left!
We both didn't know what to do! We just stared away at a wall feeling awkward! We decided to leave and smiled all along when walking to the station.
We didn't exchange words in the train either! Before parting ways, he said he'd call me later that night. When he did, we confessed our feelings but didn't know what to do because he's a Muslim and im a Hindu! But we decided that since we were serious about each other, we should give it a shot and get into a commitment.
We thank this common friend of ours!
But unfortunately we just lost him to cancer a while ago...
- Hussain started with his career and asked me to join the line too by getting a portfolio done. He would go away for 2-3 weeks and I'd get really insecure with him being with other girls and seeing him on screen with them.
First I had him to myself and then suddenly he was just not a call away!
Any guy in his place with my tantrums would give up but he would instead sit and patiently explain me the scenario.
- Because of eves teasing by boys on motorcycles I cant ever walk alone on the road till date! It's a phobia!
- It was a task convincing my parents for marriage.
I told them about our relationship and its depth when we completed 2 years and confessed that he's "the one" for me and I want to get married to him and only him. They outright refused and we decided to keep our affair hush for a bit.
Mid-day got to know about us and wanted to publish it but we asked them for 2-3 months so that we could announce it to our parents first properly and then they could release it. DNA eventually published it first but without my picture. Then Mid-day got my snap and were going to release it and I told my mum about this issue before she gets to know with the rest of he world and she said "now you handle your dad!".
My brother told my dad that my picture was going to come in the paper the next day and he said that he didn't care which paper it would come in but he wont give permission for my marriage to Hussain. I had made up my mind that without everyone's consent we wont get married. My full family and society got to know and started calling home. I had decided we will get married on the 21st of Dec of any year because that's when we started going out.
My mum spoke to my dad and finally he gave in. And in 2 months both our families met and we had a court marriage and reception.
Later we had a Muslim function and Bharat and Doris dressed me up, and Vikram Phadnis got me an outfit arranged in 2 hours. Hussain didn't know I was going to dress up as a Muslim bride and was thrilled at this surprise!
- For Hussain's birthday I got my portfolio clicked and it costed my 11000 Rs. which is much more than the one Hussain got made at a mere 1800 Rs.!
and he conned me into circulating my pictures to just recover the portfolio expenses and in no time I got offers with 15000 as my first pay.
I even did an ad for "Nakshatra" with Aishwarya Rai.
- I didn't apply mehndi on my wedding day because Hussain hates it!

I hope you enjoyed these silly secrets & trivia about us
Let me know how was it.
We'll be back with more such stuff soon.
Love,
Tina.

Hussain: Hey guys! First of all, we are very sorry for
having kept all of you waiting! We were actually preparing to take off to Rome where we will be
performing together once again.
Tina: So rehearsals, packing, preparations ... you'll know
how it is! We were hoping this to be a business-cum-pleasure trip where we
would get to explore our adventure side once again.
Hussain: So as you all must have guessed, we are right now in
the historic & beautiful city of Rome.
Tina: But, it wasn't all that easy! Guess what, we missed
our flight to Rome!
Can you beat it; there were no announcements for Business Class lounge. Oh
gosh!
Hussain: We ended up taking connecting flights to Dubai & Milan,
then the Euro Rail & after a tiresome airborne journey, finally made it! Maybe
the adventure factor in us will just never die off.
Tina: It was such a hassle but we also have to
admit, it was fun in a different way!
Hussain: So as we said, we are currently in the beautiful
city of Rome
and trust us guys, no other city comes close to this one! We successfully put
up our first show & it went simply superb! Next few days we intend to
explore Rome
& its rich culture, tour around & soak in all its history &
grandeur.
Tina: After our second show, we plan to visit the water
city of Italy- Venice and the scenic Florence after which we will do our last show and head to Switzerland, Paris
and maybe Milan
too! Sounds exciting, doesn't it?
Hussain: We hope it turns out to be too & we will keep updating
the post as and when possible! It's not all that easy to blog from Rome you see.
Tina: But yes, once we are back by the end of this month,
we will share all our memories & pictures with you on the blog and give you
day-to-day update of what happened.
Hussain: We will be your travel guides.
But for the time
being, we are having a ball of a time with the shows and rehearsals, & the
holiday mood.
Tina: If any of you have been to any of these lovely
places & have any suggestions as to the 'must do's' here, do let us know!
Hussain: Now coming to the new nickname, first of all, a BIG
BIG thank you to all of you out there, who put on their thinking hats &
came up with such creative & some very cute nicknames for us.
Tina: But guys, we wanted adventurous ones!
We went
through all & listed them out. Trust us; we had a really hard time short
listing & then picking one. It was tough narrowing down on one but are 3
most favorite ones are:
Firtsly, HussTin Hunters by
ranbir_lekha
Secondly, ParaHuTing by
anku2cute & Aishwarya14
& Thirdly, Rocky Bikers
by ASHU_DMG
Hussain: The rest were all very innovative too but these 3
sounded the most adventurous! So thank you once again and to not just the 3 of
them but to all of you. And as promised, we are definitely going to call these
3 special fans of ours & personally thank them for helping us out.
Tina: You guys are far more creative than we thought! We
are looking forward to giving the 3 of you a call once we are back from Italy. So do
send in your contact number & a brief write-up about yourselves to our ID
at hussaintinablog@gmail.com
(also please don't forget to mention which nickname you are).
Hussain: Thank you for all your love & wishes once
again. We will be back soon on the blog to keep you updated with our holiday. And yes don't forget, we love you all!
Lots of Love,
Hussain and Tina
